Default Have a Series I - II Soft top metal covers set

that will be up for sale soon.

I just sent it off for a chemical Dip like I do all my metal pieces. The main center piece and each side pieces are in very good condition, no dents or scratches.

One pin is missing the other is in very good condition, so, I am looking for one of the "pins" and perhaps a spring that goes with it (last PIC).

I have one hinge that is in good condition, But need one to make it complete. My Metal shop Guy is supposed to be Fab'ng one for me (they are right and left hinges). Next to last PIC show theLeft hand side hinge, actually there is the second one underneath but missing a piece. That is why I am having one Right hand side made.

While I am having the one hinges made I might have a couple sets done (perhaps cheaper), so if there is anyone interested please let me know soon.

Default Chem Dipped Metal covers

Got the Series I - II Soft top metal covers cleaned. Bare metal looks great. Primed to prevent any rust.

Had drawings made of the original Hinge that was good. They are Exact duplicates in reverse.

Also had a "test" piece of the laser cut pieces to complete the Hinge and brackets.

I made a comparison of the new with the old one. Very well done.

This will complete all the pieces to the Covers except the one "pin" I need.

Anyone interested in some very nice reproduction hinges for their Series I & II Alpine soft top covers please let me know.

A larger quantity in production will reduce the cost.

I realize there are not many of these Alpines out there any more but for offers to "KEEP THEM ON THE ROAD", I am trying to help,

Thanks,

DanR
