Default LOOK! West Coast Invasion 2018

Greetings Sunbeamers! Last May was too much fun, so we have to do it all over again. We have reservations at the exotic Bluebird Inn in Cambria. This is a nicer and more favorable location than the last one. Below are the dates and rates. Call them directly at 805 927 4634 and reference the Sunbeam Car Club. Don't use a booking agency.
Thursday May 17: Friday May 18, Sat. May 19

Queen - $109 $139
King/ 2 doubles $119 $149
Delux King/ 2 Queens $139 $169
2 Queen Delux $149 $175

I have reserved 15 rooms which are to be held for us until one month prior to our event. After you make your reservation, please let me know so I can keep an accurate head count. bingkunzig@gmail.com...more to come!

Now there's a thought-go invade the CAT United! Just a few Alpines usually go to that....

Default Kiss of Death?

Put us down as a definite maybe. It is a long distance and a lot of water will be flowing under the bridge between now and then.

That would definitely qualify for a long distance award.

Well, the issue is already in doubt. We are expecting a new grandchild May 22. This is a real monkey wrench in the works. For the past few years, we have wanted to make a west coast Alpine tour, visiting relatives (some of whom we have never seen) and traveling up the coast to Washington, mostly just because. The Invasion would fit into these plans very nicely.

Now??

Well, Barb has wanting to do this for several years (mostly her relatives) and time is running out for me to do this. So its becoming a now or never thing.

Tough decision coming up.

Bill

Maybe: Leisurely drive out pre-event, visit and tour, fly back for the blessed event, then fly out again to complete your tour? I'm sure a responsible West-coastie could put up the 'pine whilst you folks are back in baby land.

And by the way, congrats!
