When ? I have some ideas, though will be next year 2011, plus I am with a camping group. The PNW is a Great area and The local clubs have no idea on how to make ado. . I read that OHAN in Vancouver in BC is a likely.
Yes. Wonderful man and a lot of skills putting things together.. In order to do that area YES passports are a necessary evil. Beautiful area, wonderful people too.
The All British Field Meets are held in the Seattle area and Portland. If a coordination could be made there it would work out great for BOTH .
I live in the Portland area, there are several persons with clubs that MAY help, but it is close to avoid helping .
IF any one wishes contact me by PM ..
I may have some ideas. Not familiar with the Invasion type of scenario, it would help if an officer would contact me.

Okiedoke.... There's your choices friends and neighbors... Vancouver, Oregon or Phoenix. Got a three sided coin to flip?
Anyone else wanna get in this? How about Castroville-Artichoke Capitol of the World? Reno-Tahoe? Sin City/Las Vegas.... Hey if we do Vegas we can take a run up the ET Highway to Rachel Nevada and try to sneak into Area 51...

Here's a vote for Vancouver although passports might present a hassle. 2nd choice--Oregon or Seattle.

Have done a few trips to Ohio in different Sunbeams the trip is around 10 hours from here to there and it is a ride make no mistake. A trip west would be something.
If your Alpine has the later series seats, the trip can be a fun one. I have driven my Alpines from Seattle to L.A., to Charleston, SC and back, then later the same trip from Seattle to Nashville and back. I had a great time driving my V6 Alpines, so you would have a great time with your V6 Alpine. You would be able to cruise at 80-90 mph all the way acroos the wide open spaces. The four cylinder cars may have a bit of trouble, but they could have a good time too.

Why would you suggest that a 4 cylinder car may have a bit of trouble?
That is nonsense, and resembles a plug for the darkside at factory 4 cylinder expense?
I drove the 1725 cc Airpine from Atlanta/Rapid City South Dakota/return with no glitch, using a worn, 2nd hand motor I installed in the back yard complete with downdraft Zeniths and rolling on ancient, original hubs and wire wheels.
I did not have overdrive and didn't really need it for cruising along, and had a great trip, top down the entire distance...

What I meant to say, is that unless the four cylinder had an overdrive, it will not cruise at 80-90 miles per, hour after hour. I know that some guys are brave enough to attempt such a long trip in their stocker. I admire them no end, 'cause I sure wouldn't try it.

p.s. I am not trying to promote the Dark Side. The Dark Side sells itself to those special people who can't leave well enough alone.
